Allentown suburb with a rich history in a beautiful natural setting.
WELCOME TO COOPERSBURG
The borough of Coopersburg is a welcoming suburb of Allentown, known for its inviting atmosphere and close-knit community spirit. The community offers a wide selection of shops and restaurants, and the many attractions and amenities of Downtown Allentown are just a few minutes’ drive away.
Like many Lehigh Valley communities, Coopersburg has a rich history that predates the foundation of the United States. Coopersburg was one of the communities included in the famous walking purchase of 1737 and the borough’s strong heritage continues to this day, through the Coopersburg Historical Society’s active role in community events. The Society operates a free museum with hundreds of interesting artifacts at Borough Hall and organizes Coopersburg’s popular annual Community Day.
